Safety Update
As a precautionary measure and through our STOP Grant from the AEA, our district has adopted a free anonymous tip hotline app called StopIt. This is free to our district for a year. We implemented the use of this app in early October. Students and staff watched videos on how to properly use the app. A link to this video was also sent to parents so they could watch it. This app allows students or community members to submit tips if they have heard or seen something unsafe that needs to be reported. The app even allows someone to upload pictures or videos if that person witnesses something unsafe. The app then filters the tip and sends it to the appropriate administrator to be investigated. If you are interested in downloading the app, you can download it from the app store on your phone. Our school is listed as HCSD.
