The Harlan Community School District provides a school nurse for all students.  We remain committed to providing health services knowing that this supports student success.  A school nurse strengthens and facilitates the educational processes by improving and promoting the optimal health of our students and their families.

It is our goal to promote optimal health, prevent disease and support comprehensive health education for all students, staff and families.  We do this in order to advance  the well being and academic success and life-long achievement of all students.
